The Zanatta brothers started Calzaturificio Tecnica Spa in the 1960´s in the Italian town of Montebelluna. Originally they produced work shoes but it was for the complete opposite the brand become known.

At the start of the 1970´s before going to after-ski, basically every skier changed their tight boots for the soft, warm Moon Boots – with the name Tecnica on them – and nothing but the original would do.
